3-syllable word

Hannah said her first 3-syllable word last night, most of the time she can only say up to 2 syllables. Of course, being a little girl which loves her food, it wasn't surprising that her first 3- syllable word was "Wan Tan Mee"!

She loves noodles, so usually when we ask her what she wants to eat, she will say "mee mee" (noodles) or sometimes "rice". So yesterday, when her Daddy asked her what "mee mee" she wanted, she said clearly and audibly, "Wan Tan Mee". We both sure had a good laugh.

So since last night, she has been able to articulate 3 syllables at one time. For example, this morning I told her not to touch "Mummy's specs", she said "Ma-mi's specs". She could also say "Baby chair". It's quite amazing to us how fast she can pick up things. As they say, children's brains are like sponges, absorbing everything they see and hear.

Last night also, I asked her to say a prayer for Nanna who is not well. So she repeated after me, clearly and accurately, "Lord Jesus, please heal Nanna, amen."

She has also been potty-trained since she was 21 months for No. 1 but we have not yet been very successful with No. 2. So far she can only do No. 2 in her diapers. In fact, there was once she took her diapers and asked her Ah Mah to wear it for her so she could do No. 2. We are still trying and hopefully she can be fully trained by the time she is 2 1/2 years old.
