My Wish List

Here are some things that I found online which are simply adorable for Baby, but the prices are way beyond what we should spend! Even though we can afford it, I suppose it's no point to spend so much on Baby's things which she will outgrow in a short time. The money would be better spent on essentials such as milk and diapers. But anyway, it's nice to dream :)

Fisher Price Open To Take Along Swing - Precious Planet

Fisher Price Happy Giraffe Bouncer - Precious Planet

Chicco DJ Baby Walker - Cottage (available at Mothercare)

Winnie The Pooh Cosy Play Gym (available at Mothercare)

Rosebud Moses Basket (available at Mothercare)

Littlehampton Changing Unit (available at Mothercare)

Maclaren Quest stroller (available at babyGap)

babyGap embroidered ruffle dress

babyGap embroidered denim romper

Ralph Lauren Baby's First Polo

Ralph Lauren Suede Color-Blocked Loafer

Aren't they all so pretty? But it's really not necessary-lah. We can get just as good things at regular stores without having to break the bank. After all, it's just in the brand. Baby won't be able to tell the difference if she's wearing Ralph Lauren, babyGap, Anakku or pasar malam clothes.

So I also think that's important to teach Baby to be frugal from young. Although children nowadays are very priveleged, Baby has to learn that not everything that she wants she can get. She needs to learn that Daddy and Mummy work hard for the money and luxuries once in a while are okay but not all the time.

Baby, Daddy and Mummy also promise to try to give you the best life possible, so be a good Baby and grow strong and healthy for us. Hopefully we will not spoil you too much, although I believe the tendency is there, especially with your Daddy!

  2. Congrats Angeline! Sorry we are a bit outdated, only get to know your good news now.
All baby's stuffs are very adorable aren't they? But daddy mummy need to have self control if not will be overspent! These stuffs only last for few mths, they grow really fast. Perhaps you can check with friends around to see anything they can pass down to your bub? We had 95% of our stuffs all pass down from friends. It helps to save a lot!
