I mentioned in my previous post that I can stand up on my own now. I do it more and more nowadays and I can stand for longer periods of time.
I am very happy when I can stand and I will clap my hands and give a big smile! :)

11 months
Because I had fever during the weekend, I didn't go anywhere so I had to stay at home with Mummy and Daddy. My fever was much better on Sunday but I still couldn't go out because Mummy and Daddy said that I need to stay at home and get a lot of rest.
I am 11 months old today, and my abilities and skills have increased. I cannot walk yet, but I can stand up on my own for a few seconds. I will give a big smile after that, like I have accomplished something great! :)
I can say more words now, such as bear-bear, duck, "zard" (lizard), "n'more" (no more) or "habis" (see, I am bilingual too!) complete with hand gestures, kok-kok (for chicken), "bok-bok" (for balloon or ball), "key" and "mou" (for mouse). I love playing with keys, by the way - house keys, car keys, any sort of keys. But they have to be real keys and not the toy keys that Mummy tries in vain to let me play with. Mummy and Daddy have to watch me when I play with keys so that I don't accidentally injure myself.
I was playing with my keys while watching cartoons on television, and when I saw Mickey Mouse, I kept pointing and saying "mou, mou".
However, most of the time, I just babble away in my baby talk. Daddy says I am very talkative. When I am awake, I rarely stop talking!

Fever
Little Hannah woke up yesterday afternoon from her nap with a fever. Mother-in-law quickly called us so I took off from work and went back to check on her. She was still her active self but her forehead, neck, the palms of her hands and feet were very warm. With H1N1 making a "comeback" and the onset of dengue fever, not to mention hand foot and mouth disease, we decided to take her to the pediatrician just to make sure everything was ok.
I called up Adventist Hospital and asked to make an appointment with her usual pediatrician, Dr Mary, but was informed that she was on leave until this Sunday. So no choice, we had to see one of the other pediatricians on duty that day, Dr Pong.
At the pedriatic clinic, Hannah's temperature was taken and she had a fever of 38.6 degrees, quite high already. However, she still wanted to play with all the kiddy toys in the clinic while waiting to go in to see the doctor.
I wasn't very sure about seeing a new pediatrician because Hannah had never been consulted by anyone but Dr Mary and I didn't know how she would take to Dr Pong, but the moment we entered his room, he put a huge purple singing caterpillar on the table and she was sold! :)
Not only that, while he was busy examining her and talking to me, he asked his nurse to blow bubbles for her - in his room! That definitely made her day, fever or no fever. And when the bubbles had all popped, she said "n'more" (no more) and made the gesture with her hands, Dr Pong said "Aiyo, so cute, Kakak please blow more bubbles for Hannah!"
Dr Pong explained that since she had no other symptoms, it was just a viral fever and she should be alright within 3 or 4 days. The fever may go up and down, however, for the first couple of days. We just need to check that she has no cough, cold, vomiting or red spots.
When the check-up was over, she happily waved bye bye to Dr Pong and his nurse and we went home. She was much better in the evening, but in the middle of the night, her fever went up to 38.8 degrees. We gave her another dose of 3 ml Paracetamol and she was better this morning with a mild fever of 37.3 degrees.
One good thing is that she quite likes the Paracetamol syrup and takes the whole 3 ml without any complaint or spitting out. At least then we know that the medicine goes into her system and helps make her better instead of all over her shirt or hankerchief! :)
We just hope and pray that our little princess gets better and we prayed for her last night that Jesus will make her fever all gone soon and she will be back to her active self.

SP & SP
Yesterday Daddy had to attend court at Sungai Petani (SP) (they work on Sundays). Since I woke up early, Daddy said that Mummy and I could follow him to keep him company :)
This is me in the car before we started our journey. I have lately grown an attachment to my Baby Pooh. Usually when in the car, I must hold on to him.
I slept most of the way from home to the SP court. When we arrived, I was still sleeping so Mummy stayed with me in the car while Daddy attended court. I had a good long nap and when Daddy finished, I had just woken up.
Since I was awake, we then decided to go to Aeon Shopping Mall in Seberang Perai (SP as well). The moment we entered the mall, I got very excited and started pointing and struggling to get down. It was because of this:
I was so happy to see it so Daddy asked the information lady about the cost. Guess what, it was free! That made Daddy happy too :) He says it's very good service. They also provide baby strollers and wheelchairs free as well for those people that needed them. This is me in my Kiddie Car Number 8:
Mummy wanted a photo with me as well.
I cannot sit still for very long though while Mummy and Daddy take photos so here I am popping my head out of the car.
I honked the horn as well to let everyone know here comes Hannah!
See how excited I was?
Me and my happy face:
After walking around for awhile, Daddy and Mummy went to Nando's for lunch (or rather, brunch). I had my banana rusk. It's yummy!
Later we went to Baskin Robbin's for ice cream (which I love but not allowed to eat a lot) and I got a free balloon! I can say "bok-bok" and I kept saying it until Mummy got it for me. Daddy wanted to take a photo with me too but I was too excited to sit still (as usual).
We went home after that, and I slept all the way home in the car again. What a fun day! :)

I like to drive!
These pictures were taken a few weeks ago, but Mummy had no time to post them up until today. I have found a new favourite activity - playing "drive" on these big toys!
The first time I actually took a ride in one was at Jusco in Queensbay Mall. I was so excited and happy that I got to ride/drive in the little toy animals and cars. Mummy didn't bring the camera that day though, so no pictures.
The next time was at New World Park, as in the photos below. The moment I saw the rides, I got so excited and kept pointing and pointing at them. I couldn't even wait for everyone to finish eating before I wanted to go and ride. Ah Mah had to hold me just in case I get too excited and fall down.
I love to drive Daddy's car so these are perfect for me! The steering wheel is small enough to fit my little hands. I even know how to shift the "gear" like I see Daddy doing.
Anybody want a ride?
Mummy and Daddy have since learnt, however, that they do not need to waste money to make the animals or cars move. I am quite happy to sit inside and play with the steering wheel and buttons and gears without it actually having to move.
Look at my happy face! :)
Last weekend, I went to Tesco with Mummy and Daddy. Right at the entrance, I saw the rides and pointed and pointed. So after their shopping, Mummy and Daddy let me ride. But when it was time to go home and I had to leave, I screamed loudly because I still wanted to play. Oh well, next time ok?

Mobile phone photos
I actually have a lot of Hannah's photos in my mobile, but unfortunately I misplaced the cable so I could not upload them into my computer. However, just the other day I was fiddling with my laptop and discovered that I could bluetooth the pictures into my laptop. Me the dinosaur thought this was pretty "canggih"..heheh.
So anyway, here are some of my favourites.
Hannah has this thing about glasses (spectacles) and she's always pulling people's glasses off their noses. So finally her Ah Mah got her her own sunglasses and she's posing with Daddy for a picture in this photo. But believe it or not, she can tell the difference between the real and the fake, just like she can with mobile phones. She will play with the fake glasses or phone for a little while, but she will throw it aside after a while and ask for the real thing!
These 3 photos below were taken when I personally think that she was the chubbiest. She was about 2 months plus here. Check out the double chin!
This was her first actual "smile". "Smile" in inverted commas because it was done involuntarily when she was only about 2 weeks old in this photo.
We find this photo to be super hilarious. Look at her expression. Cheeky from the very beginning! She was about 3 weeks old in this photo. It looks like she has just done something naughty and is smiling to herself.

Snack time
Last Saturday, Hubby had to be in office almost until evening, so I was home with Hannah most of the day. It was a good time of bonding for the two of us and I let her have her favourite snack, her baby biscuits.
As usual, when we are both home alone, out comes the camera! :) But I think Hubby's skills are better:)
She really enjoys her biscuits and she will offer you a bite everytime after she takes a bite. I couldn't capture that on camera since it was only the both of us. But she will do it without fail everytime and offer to whoever is around. Her Ah Mah says she shouldn't be so generous otherwise she will have nothing left to eat! :p But we always praise her for sharing her food and we only pretend to eat and not actually eat it ;)
The biscuits normally come in individual packets of 2 so she finished the first one and now is starting on the second one.
She is giving me a surprised look but I can't remember why! The mess behind is thanks to the little girl in the picture below. When I am home I try to keep things organised. When her Daddy is at home with her, the mess is much worse! Haha..just kidding :)
We have to tell her to eat slowly because she likes to stuff everything in her mouth when it comes to the last bit. We are afraid that she might choke but the good thing about these biscuits is that they melt in the mouth.
There it goes, the last whole bit into her mouth. See how she does it? So unladylike..haha..
This is what she was enjoying by the way, strawberry flavour. This brand can be bought at Cold Storage Island Plaza. She also likes another brand "Baby Bites" which comes in original, carrot and chicken flavour and these can be bought in most other supermarkets.

Let's go to the zoo!
Last weekend, Mummy and Daddy decided to take me to the zoo! It was to be my first time at the zoo. Of course the nearest zoo is in Taiping. We would have gone 2 weeks ago when we went to visit Ah Chor, but we had no time.
So anyway, since we woke up early to go, I had a nice nap in the car on the way there. Daddy says the way I sleep on Mummy is like a little koala bear.
Here we are at the zoo! We posed in front of the entrance which said "Selamat Datang ke Zoo Taiping & Night Safari". However, I was not interested in taking photos but pointed to somewhere else where I wanted to go. You will notice in a lot of the photos that I am pointing. It's my new favourite thing to do when I want something or want to go somewhere.
The weather was ultra hot, so Mummy brought my little portable fan. But when she attached it to my stroller, I kept wanting to touch it, which defeated the purpose for it to cool me down.
Jie Jie Zhen Yi and Candice came too and here are some of the photos of all of us together.
This is me with Mummy. Mummy was "forced" to buy the red balloon for me because I kept pointing and pointing to it until the balloon uncle came over and handed it to me. So Mummy had no choice but to pay him RM1 for the balloon. Good thing it was RM1 and not RM10 :p
These are some of the animals we saw:
Look at the cute baby monkey..he came so close that Daddy was able to get a close-up shot of him. He didn't even want to leave and stood there for a long time looking at us.
I forgot what I was looking at here, but I sure was pointing to it! :) And something else was also very amusing, but cannot remember also what it was :p
Time for a milk break!
I finished my milk and was pointing to where I wanted to go next!
More animals! We were waiting for the peacock to spread its tail but it still did not after some time so we walked to see the next animal.
Mummy likes this picture Daddy took of the swan and its reflection in the water.
Taiping zoo has in fact lots of animals. Mummy and Daddy were amused by the honey bear. It was so hot that the bear was having a nice soak in the water.
On the way back, we took a ferry home to Penang. This was also my first time in the ferry. See, I am helping Daddy to drive the car. Mummy changed my clothes because I was all hot and sweaty from the visit to the zoo.
We are looking at Penang Island from the ferry with the wind in our hair. I liked the "whoosh whoosh" feeling of the wind on my face. It was a fun trip and Mummy and Daddy said will take me again when I am bigger and am able to understand and appreciate it more.
