Art & craft time

I am currently in confinement, and Hubby's mum comes up every morning to cook and help out with Heidi, but she will leave around 6 pm every day once she has cooked dinner. So after that until Hubby comes home (sometimes after 10 pm if he has class), it's basically just me and the 2 kids. Hannah is at home with us the whole day since Hubby's mum is the one who looks after her when we are at work.

So anyway, it can get pretty boring for her being cooped up at home the entire day, so Sue has been so kind to watch her for a few hours on certain days so that I can get some rest! :) Hannah had a lot of fun the last time she was there doing art and craft together with Sue's daughter Sarah. They get along pretty well as they are about the same age.

Here they were making little tigers from toilet rolls.

Finished!

And here is another "masterpiece" which is now stuck on our fridge :)

The last project for the day was to make a ladybird from a paper plate. The first step was to colour the paper plate red.

The two little girls with their finished ladybirds - also wearing matching Dora pyjamas :)

Pretty little princess :)

Our Easter princess

Our 2nd little princess was born on Easter morning, 8 April 2012 at 7.26 am. Birth story will be posted later :-) Meantime, here is a photo of her around 4 hours old.

Hannah was very excited to see her little sister, even refusing to go to all her favourite places i.e. Queensbay, playground etc

Thank you to our friends for the lovely gifts!

Saturday morning at Queensbay

Last Saturday, Daddy had no extra class, so he and Mummy brought me to Queensbay Mall to see Hello Kitty. We had lunch at Winter Warmers and I insisted on ordering this. However, in the end I only ate the french fries and "eyes" which were eggs. Daddy had to finish the rest.

Hello Kitty was supposed to make her appearance at 1 pm. By the time we got to the concourse area around 1.05 pm, she was already about to leave! Good thing we managed to get a glimpse before she exited the stage.

I took a picture with the Hello Kitty car instead since I could not take a picture with Hello Kitty.

After that, we did some shopping at Jusco supermarket. They have these little trolleys which I love to push. Quite an ingenious idea, don't you think?

After that, we went home to have my nap. At night, we all went for Uncle Kok Hsiang's birthday dinner. Nobody brought their camera so we had to settle for mobile phone pictures. Here is one of me and Daddy with the birthday boy.

My favourite part of the whole dinner was the yummy ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. I am definitely asking Daddy to order one for my birthday too! :)
