Heidi's first time out

Little Heidi turned exactly 3 months old yesterday. Prior to this we have never taken her "kai-kai" anywhere except to her grandmother's house on certain weekends. However, yesterday we wanted to do some household shopping and we also had a RM30 voucher for Noodle Station at e-Gate which we needed to utilise otherwise it would be expiring very soon.

So we decided that everybody could go - we would go early to Tesco before it got too crowded and then for brunch at Noodle Station (from past experiences it is usually quite empty). Heidi was the model of good behaviour - she looked here and there probably wondering what were all these new sights. After some time, she fell asleep on my shoulder until we got back in the car to drive to Noodle Station.

Daddy took a picture of Heidi's first trip out "kai-kai" :)

We were at the toy section because the smart people at Tesco put that section right at the very entrance so we have to pass by it, and of course Hannah won't let us go anywhere else until we have thoroughly browsed the aisles of the toy section. She was pretty excited to be able to go out as well since she too had not been out for some time.

It was a good first family outing for all 4 of us - short and productive, and I think both our girls enjoyed it. Looking forward to when Heidi is bigger so that we can maybe take a family vacation :)

Tesco Tanjung Pinang

Mummy and Daddy had a long break last week due to the Hari Raya and Merdeka holidays, so we decided to check out the new Tesco store at Seri Tanjung Pinang at Tanjung Tokong. It has been opened for some time, but Daddy does not like to go and crowd with people, so we waited to go last Monday, which was a holiday for us, but a working day for most people :)

Whenever we go to the supermarket, I always insist on pushing the trolley, which can get quite inconvenient as the trolley is much bigger than me, so I cannot see where I am going. At Tesco Tanjung Pinang, they have small trolleys just right for my size. Mummy says I am truly in shopping heaven :)

Mummy and Daddy bought some things for me there, so all my stuff I insisted on putting in my small trolley and not their big trolley.

Since we normally go to Tesco Gelugor which is much nearer to our house, Mummy is thinking of proposing to the management there that they have small trolleys available too, to suit little kids like me! I am liking the new Tesco much better though! When can we go again? :)

Then and Now

Then - Sarah at 16 months and Hannah at 5 months:

Now - Sarah at 2 years and 9 months and Hannah at 1 year and 10 months. Notice any difference? :)

Sarah now has a baby sister Amelia who is almost 8 months old. On Saturday morning Sue and myself took the girls to Tesco for breakfast and some shopping. All 3 of them managed to fit into one shopping cart, which made things a lot easier for the both of us!

Look at the angelic faces (or maybe not so angelic :p)

Hannah needed a new pair of shoes as her feet are really growing tremendously fast nowadays. I got her this purple and pink pair with a lady bird. Sarah got a pair as well, so the girls had matching shoes :)

Back at home, posing with the sunglasses I got from Forever 21 in Singapore for SGD8.10 only! :)

New outfit

I was at home with Hannah last weekend when her Daddy was in Langkawi. We had a good time with a mummy and baby day out (or rather, morning out) to Tesco. It was our first time out together, jus the two of us. In fact early in the morning she already wanted to go "kai-kai" and stood by the door waiting. I told her that she cannot go kai-kai yet because she hasn't "pom-pom" (take bath). Immediately, she went and stood by the bathroom door and pointed to go inside, saying "pom-pom, pom-pom". I thought it was so funny. She immediately wanted to take her bath so we could go out! :)

Anyway, a little later I bathed her and we went out. I decided the easiest place for me and her to go would be Tesco since I could push her in the cart. Upon browsing the aisles at Tesco, I realised that some of their baby and kid's clothings are really cheap, and the quality is not bad too. Check out my baby model on the right in her new outfit from Tesco.

Top - RM3.90
Shorts - RM8.00
Shoes - RM7.00
Grand total - RM18.90

RM18.90 for a whole outfit is pretty cheap. Both Mummy and baby were very happy with our purchase :)

After shopping, we had brunch at McDonald's. She had a Happy Meal which I shared with her and it turns out she really likes iced Milo and french fries. For a treat once in a while its ok :) After that, she went to play on all the toy rides.

All that activity must have tired her out and she slept in the car on the way home and had a good long nap. I was quite satisfied with our first time out together and looking forward to our next outing :)

Hannah at Tesco

We took Hannah to Tesco recently to buy groceries. As usual, I couldn't resist snapping a few photos because I thought she looked oh-so-cute in her little pink dress and pig tails (I tied them myself).

Standing up in the shopping cart, I realised how tall she is now.

After we had finished shopping, she caught sight of all the toys outside McDonald's so we couldn't leave until she was satisfied playing with them.

Her hands were spinning the steering wheel round and round.

Two hands on two steering wheels:
